Govt. Chief Whip demands an apology for misleading the House
Hyderabad, December 17, 2006
The Government Chief Whip N. Kiran Kumar Reddy speaking to reporters on Sunday said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s family members bought assigned lands to the Heritage Group of Industries owned by him should tender an apology for misleading the House.
The Heritage group purchased 5 acres and 67 cents DKT lands and 1 acre 19 cents of Inam lands belonging to Choudeswari temple at Gundusettipalli in Chittoor district but he denied the charge. He said that he has documentary evidence to this effect and that Chandrababu Naidu should apologize the House for making a misleading statement and the Government is considering moving a privilege motion depending upon his reaction.
