No shortage of cooking gas
Hyderabad, December 15, 2006The Minister for Agriculture, N. Raghuveera Reddy informed in the Assembly on Friday that proposals have been sent to the Petroleum Ministry to regularize cooking gas connections which were being used by the consumers other than the original allotees in the State.
He said that the Government had discussions with the State level Oil Coordinator and oil companies in this regard. He further added that there was no shortage of cooking gas and the gas dealers are supplying gas within four days of their booking. He said that 126 locations with more than 20,000 connections were identified for giving new dealership and a notification to this effect will be issued soon.
He also announced that an auto LPG retail outlet would be set up in every district headquarters before next March and 12 more will be added to the 16 outlets in the city.
