The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday strongly reacted on the Government's preference to locate the proposed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), near the State Capital. The TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu said that it should come up at Basar itself as planned earlier. Meanwhile, the State BJP president Bandaru Dattatreya dashed a letter to the Chief Minister that IIT should come up at Basar as earlier planned.
