Cine artiste lands in jail and ransom money recovered
Hyderabad, December 1, 2006
The police arrested five persons including a cine artiste in kidnapping a real estate trader BB Reddy and recovered Rs. 31 lakhs. The police also recovered the ransom money and two air pistols and two daggers. The artiste Praveen was the king pin in the kidnap case. He played the role of a villain in two films. The Cyberabad Commissioner M. Mahendra Reddy said that Praveen and his friend Rajasekhar made plans to kidnap affluent people to make easy money.
