World AIDS Day observed
Hyderabad, December 1, 2006
The Director General of Police Swaranjit Sen has asked all police personnel and their families to undergo HIV/AIDS tests. As part of the pro-active measures taken by the department, he asked all the District Superintendents, City Police Commissioners and Commandants of various battalions to see that thee policemen along with their family members to go for the tests voluntarily.
Speaking at a programme organized on the eve of World Aids Day, he said the police not only stayed away from their homes for long but at the same time interacted with public constantly.
