Rains creates havoc in the region

Medak, August 7, 2006

As many as 38 houses are completely destroyed in the Narsapur Mandal region of Medak district. Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) Anantaram said that the 28 more houses are partially damaged.

He said that lakes are damaged increasing the already inconvenience caused by the rains. The details of the damaged lakes were sent to the Irrigation Department, he said. Lingapur Forest Lake and the lakes at Pedda Chinta and Rayanyan were damaged.
