National Laser Sailing Championships from August 6
Laser 4.7 class to be introduced
Championships to be held in five categories
Hyderabad, August 4, 2006The Hussainsagar Lake in Hyderabad is the chosen venue for the Laser National Sailing Championships. The sailing championships will be held from August 6 to 12 and will feature five categories.
Vice President of the Laser Class Association of India (LCAI) Major General RS Jamwal, at a press conference said that the Championships will be held in Laser 4.7 category for children, Youth Category for Laser Standard and Laser Radial Classes, Apprentice Masters Category, Masters Category for age group of 45 - 54 and the Grand Masters Category for the age group 55 - 64.
The sailing championships are jointly conducted by the LCAI, EME Sailing Association and the Secunderabad Club.
