Warangal, August 3, 2006

MLA of the Congress Party Ms. K Surekha surrender before the court. She is involved in a case dating back to September 15, 2004 when she and her party members staged a demonstration at the Intejargunj Police Station against the arrest of congress worker. The Police registered a case against her and 12 other members.

Ms. K Surekha surrendered before the First Additional Munsif Magistrate following summons ordering her to be present before the court. A warrant was issued against her following her absence at the court.

The MLA finally surrendered and was later granted bail.
