Nalgonda, August 29, 2006Seven persons of a family were killed and three others seriously injured when the van in which they were traveling collided with a lorry near Narketpally on NH no.9 in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to Nalgonda Sub Divisional Officer on Special Duty K.Chandrakanth Reddy said that the ill fated vehicle was on its way to Hyderabad from Rajahmundry while the lorry was going to Vijayawada from Hyderabad. He said that the rash driving of the Scorpio driver is the cause of the accident. Twelve persons were traveling in the hired vehicle when it had the head on collision with the lorry.
