TRS MLAs summoned to Delhi

Strategy to resign will be discussed

Hyderabad, August 17, 2006

The Telangana Rastra Samithi president K.Chandrasekhara Rao has summoned the TRS MLAs to be available in Delhi on Friday evening. It is understood that he will discuss with them the strategy as to how to quit the Central Government. It is understood that K.Chandrasekhara Rao and A.Narendra had already taken a decision to resign from their posts and would be implemented within a week. Sources said that they both will resign either on 21st or 22nd of this month.

Close sources said that it was likely that an issue would be created before their resignations were formally tendered. The plan was to organize a one day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi prior to the resignations and the party president would lead a group of MLAs at the strike camp.
