CM unfurls flag on Independence Day

Giving his message at the 60th Indian Independence Day Celebrations in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Andhra Pradesh State Government will be giving priority for Rural Development, Information Technology and Welfare. He unfurled the Tri-color Indian National Flag at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds.

The Chief Minister spoke about the achievements of the state in the past one year. He however felt sad at the tragedy that happened due to floods in many parts of the state. Highlighting the need for better connectivity of the districts, he said that broadband network connectivity will be made available all villages of the state by July next year.

Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur interacted with a host of ministers and freedom fighters on the eve of Independence Day at the Raj Bhawan.
