SC Railway DRM officially launches the meet

Vijayawada, August 11, 2006

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the South Central Railways (SCR) officially launched the State-level Junior Athletic Championships at the Dandamudi Rajagopala Rao Indoor Stadium in Vijayawada. The championship meet will be on for three days.

Over 150 Athletes from 23 districts of the state are participating in the championships. 10 events were held as a part of the first day meet. Teams from Guntur and Visakhapatnam showed good performance at the end of Day 1.
