Celestial Wedding of Lord Seetaramachandra Swamy held Badrachalam

Endowments Minister Diwakar Reddy offers Silk cloths and pearls to Lord

Badrachalam, April 7, 2006

The celestial wedding of Lord seetaranachandra Swamy at the temple of Badrachalam was held marking the auspicious Sri Rama Navami day. Endowments Minister JC Diwakar Reddy and his wife presented the Silk cloths and pearls to Lord on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Chariman of the Tirumala Tirpuati Devasthanam (TTD) T Subbarami Reddy presented the Pattuvastrams (Silk Clothes) on behalf of the TTD.

The ceremony began at 10:00 AM when the deities of Lord Rama and Sita were brought to the Kalyanamantam in a procession. The Mangalya Dharanam was held at 12:10 AM.
