Ballestra to set up plant in Kakinada
Hyderabad, April 6, 2006Naturol Bioenergy Ltd. has partnered Belgium based engineering firm De Smet Ballestra group for assistance in technology for its integrated bio-diesel plant. As part of the pat, Ballestra would set up the plant in Kakinada with necessary technology transfer. The company would invest Rs.140 crores for setting up of the plant and become operational by January 2007.
The MD and CEO Bhaskar Chalasani, Naturol said on Thursday that the company is exploring the feasibility of setting up some other plants in India and overseas partnering with Ballestra. The bio diesel plant designed on multiple feedstock ranging from palm oil and jatropha to soya bean will have a production capacity of 300 tonne per day and will employ 200 workers.
