Hyderabad, April 5, 2006

Hyderabad-headquartered software testing, development and certification solutions provider AppLabs Technologies said it is will be increasing its headcount by 600 people in Hyderabad even as it is close to acquiring another software testing company said the CEO Sashi P.Reddy. AppLabs currently employs 830 professionals at its testing centre in Hyderabad. The company is negotiating with three companies - one in India, another in the United States and yet another in the United Kingdom and will be acquiring one of them.

The acquisition will be completed in the next four months. The company will be funding the acquisition with internal accruals and with funds from venture capital funds.
