SSC spot violation in trouble
Hyderabad, April 4, 2006
The Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organizations representing 17 unions has served an ultimatum on the Government to boycott the SSC spot valuation beginning from April if its demands are not immediately met. Even after two meetings with the Minister of School Education N.Rajyalakshmi and senior officials, JACTO leaders announced their resolve to skip the spot valuation work.
At a press conference on Tuesday, they said the proposals pertaining to creation of local cadres based on GO 95 and 96 ought to be sent immediately to the President for approval. The other demand is revival of GO 134.
