Encounter at Seshachala Hill ranges
Kadapa, April 28, 2006
In one of the biggest encounters in the recent times, police killed nine Maoists including six women naxals in the forest area on Friday in Kadapa district. In the encounter, the injured two naxals managed to escape.
On a tip off, on the presence of naxals, the police teams acted and the encounter took nearly three hours in the morning in the thick forests in the Seshachala hill ranges in Sundupalle on the border of Kadapa and Chittoor districts.
