ACB officials arrest DSP on bribe charge

Asks bribe of Rs. 2 Lakhs to speed up case

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday arrested the Deputy Superintendent of Police R Sai Krishna of Vikarabad after he was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs. 2 lakhs in relation to a murder case.

The ACB officials said that the Bureau acted based on a complaint lodged by Shiva Kumar accusing the DSP of demanding a bribe to arrest the suspects in a case relating to the murder of the complainant's father. A trap was laid and the DSP was caught. The DSP was later arrested.
