Says Telangana statehood soon
Hyderabad, April 27, 2006The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has celebrated its fifth anniversary at the Telangana Bhavan on Thursday. Addressing a huge gathering of party functionaries, the TRS president and Union Labour Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao announced that victory celebrations will be celebrated in May, when, the process for formation of separate Telangana State would be started. He said the efforts to create a separate Telengana have reached a conclusive stage and there would be definitely a positive development to that effect.
The TRS president thanked the BJP for giving a new fillip to the movement by openly declaring its support for the formation of Telangana State. Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao commented that political parties should understand the people's aspirations and change their policies accordingly and appealed the TDP workers in Telangana to join hands.
