Hyderabad, April 27, 2006

A senior company official said that the ATI Technologies will be ramping up its operations in India, both in terms of investment and in headcount because the centre in Hyderabad was involved in leading edge technology development.

Speaking to media after inaugurating the new 48,000 square feet facility of ATI Technologies India, a subsidiary, Mr. Adrian Hartog, senior Vice President and General Manager, consumer products division of ATI Technologies said that the company would be investing $75 million in the Hyderabad Centre. He said that the Hyderabad centre, which began its operation in the May last year focuses on research and development of next generation audio and digital media products.
