Trust Board elects Chairman amidst tight police security
Vijayawada, April 26, 2006
The newly constituted trust board of the Kanaka Durga temple met atop Indrakeeladri amidst tight police security and elected its new Chairman. Despite opposition from the six of the nine trust board members, Trust Board Member P Narayana Reddy was elected unanimously as Chairman of the Board.
The six members who have given a requisition to the Execution Officer for postponement of the election, were forced to elect Narayana Reddy.
