A girl student committed suicide by hanging herself on Tuesday after she failed to pass the second year intermediate examinations. In her death note, D Harshavardhani of Payakapuram admitted that she had lied to her parents about the result and asked them to excuse her for keeping them in the dark about her failure to clear the examinations.

According to her wish, the parents of Harshavardhani donated her eyes and kidneys to Swetcha Gora Eye Bank. The Police are investigating the case.
