Bomb hoax in High Court

Received call from anonymous person

A bomb threat at the Andhra Pradesh High Court turned to be a hoax after police searched the court premises with the bomb disposal squad on Monday.

According to in charge Assistant Commissioner of Police LK Shinde said, that the judiciary assistant registrar received a call from an anonymous person at 12.40pm claiming that a bomb was planted in the bathroom of the building adjacent to the main court. Immediately, the authorities informed the police who rushed to the scene and searched for about half an hour and found it to be a hoax.
