Villagers details MRO
Warangal, April 21, 2006Even before we forgot the incident where in police killed a civilian, another incident took place in crossfire between the police and naxals of Praja Pratighatana Group in Tadwai mandal on Friday.
Four naxals were killed in the exchange of fire while the villagers identified one as a civilian. The deceased one was identified as Kondai Laxmaiah a native of Damervai village. Sources reveal that he was nearer to naxalites when the encounter took place. Meanwhile, angered by the killing of a civilian, villagers thronged the encounter site and briefly detained Tadwai Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) who was to conduct the inquest. The villagers demanded an ex-gratia to the deceased family members.
