Minister requests doctors to join back duties
Hyderabad, April 13, 2006
Following the failure of talks between the medicos and the Minister for Health, Medical and Family Welfare K.Rosaiah that failed on Thursday, the medicos decided to intensify their strike.
The talks lasted for four hours and the talks proved inconclusive with the Government deciding to call an all-party meeting on Sunday to discuss the now controversial GO 19. The Minister requested them to call off the strike. The junior doctors are firm in their demand to be allowed to compete with the in service candidates.
