Shirt manufacturing unit to cost Rs. 25 crores
Hyderabad, April 12, 2006Priyadarshini Spinning Mills Ltd., a Hyderabad-based textile yarn manufacturer on Wednesday said that it would be setting up a shirt manufacturing unit at an estimated cost of Rs. 25 crore and the unit to be built at the Pashamailaram Apparel Park. The company has already purchased 12 acres of land for setting up the unit.
The new plant will produce 8500 shirts per day said managing director Harish Cherukuri. The factory will begin production by December. The company has a capacity of 60,000 spindles, which is being expanded to 82,000. The company makes polyster, viscose blended grey yarn, cotton grey yarn, cotton yarn, cotton yarn dyed and polyster, and viscose blended fibre dyed yarn.
