Bench dismisses miscellaneous petitions
Hyderabad, April 12, 2006
A division bench of the AP High Court on Wednesday declined to interfere with the process of allotment of students by the EdCET convenor to B.Ed courses in minority institutions for which State Government withdrew minority status.
The bench dismissed the miscellaneous petitions filed by institutions seeking modification of the order wherein the convenor was permitted to allot seats to students. The bench left it to the concerned institutions to fill up fifteen per cent of the management quota by admitting minority and non-minority students.
