Anantapur, April 11, 2006

Two silk traders Ramesh and Srinivas from Proddutur in Kadapa district were robbed while they were coming from Dharmavaram after returning home on Monday night near Bandaladinne in Tadipatri mandal. They were relieved of them Rs.80,000 cash and silk saries worth Rs. 18,000.

According to police sources, the duos along with six others are coming in a four-wheeler and they slowed their vehicle at Bandaladinne as the road is under repair. The dacoits broke the window pans of the vehicle with sickles, threatened to kill them, and made away with saries and loot.
