Heat is new motorcycle from Suzuki
Hyderabad, April 10, 2006
Suzuki Motorcycle India, a motor cycle manufacturer will be entering the gearless scooter market after consolidating its position in India, said senior company officials on Monday.
Speaking to reporters after launching Suzuki's 125 cc motorcycle called 'Heat', Mr.Shigeru Matsuda, operations head, marketing and administration said that the company was working on the gearless scooters. He said the company will be launching the Zeus model soon. Suzuki Motorcycle has invested Rs.200 crores to build its manufacturing unit in Gurgaon and that the company expects to post sales of over five lakh units in India in the near future. The company has been present in India for over 20 years through its tie up with the TVS Motor Company and the tie up ended in 2001 and are operating on its own.
