Registers a turnover of Rs. 3534 crores

The multi based National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has earned a profit of after tax of nearly Rs. 1674 crores during the financial year 2005-06. Addressing a press conference on Monday, NMDC chairman and managing director B.Ramesh Kumar said that the company had registered a turnover of Rs. 3534 crores during the year against the last year's turnover of Rs. 2230 crores.
The company had paid interim dividends at the rate of 76.93 per cent and 115.40 per cent in November 2005 and February 2006 respectively. He said that the balance dividend would be paid after the Annual General Meeting.
