Medicos boycotts elective surgeries
Hyderabad, April 10, 2006
The Post Graduate students working in various government hospitals have decided to join the strike, which has crippled medial education in the State. The medicos have decided to boycott the elective surgeries from Tuesday and practicals in various Government hospitals.
The doctors have given an ultimatum that if the Government does not make the PG counseling more transparent, then they would also boycott the emergency services. It may be recalled that the AP Medical Students' Association have been on strike for the last five days. The Junior Doctors are against the Government move in favour in service candidates in the PG counseling.
