Former Minister and expelled leader from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi S.Santosh Reddy has welcomed the present developments in the TRS and described them as a good sign. It will augur well for the Telangana Movement he opined.
Speaking at a press conference, he, however said on Monday that he would not join hands with the MLAs who hoisted a banner of revolt against party Chief K.Chandrasekhara Rao. He said that he was expelled as he said that the party and movement were loosing its sheen due to the dictorial attitude of Chandrasekhara Rao. Thus caused harm to the party.
About his future course of action, he said along with his supporters would meet All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi to know whether she was committed to bestowing separate Statehood for Telangana. If so whether she did it specify any date. He reiterated that he was committed to the Telangana cause and would fight till the end.
