The District Collector Navin Mittal and Machilipatanam MP B.Ramakrishna launched a website comprising comprehensive information about every mandal and village. The website was made every attractive with pictures highlighting the important places in the district including Prakasam barrage, Kondapalli Fort etc.,
The portal has links to administration, district map, departments, NRI cell, contact numbers and complaints, festivals and gallery. District history and details of public representatives haw donations can be made, places of tourist importance have all been linked to the site. Speaking to reporters, the District Collector said that the people belonging to the district who settled else where could help their natives places by liberally donating through the website.
