The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy has said that the Government has drawn up an action plan to provide house to every poor person in the State under the Rajiv Grihakalpa scheme and also under Vambay scheme. After laying foundation for 1050 houses in Malaihpeta R and B site under Rajiv Grihakalpa, the Housing Department and the Municipal Corporation are constructing four thousand houses with Rs.8 crores in different places in the city.
Under Praja Patham Programme, the Chief Minister made a flying visit to Veerabhadrapuram urban slum area and participated in interactive session with DWACRA women and also with tribal and SC youth who have received vocational training and are doing jobs in the private sector with the help of DRDA and Velugu projects.
