Mixed response for Shanti Yatra

Warangal, May 3, 2005

The Shanti Yatra by the APCC president, K Keshava Rao turned out to be a dull affair when it began at Issipeta village in Mogulapalli mandal in the district on Tuesday.

Enroute, the APCC president was joined by the party's second rung leaders and their followers. The police had to resort to a lathicharge when the BJP workers and TDP cadre at Laxmipur village came onto the Yatra route the tried to highlight the problems of the people.
