Noted film actress Vijayashanti waged a war for separate Telangana. At a public meeting on Wednesday, she appealed to the TRS president and his party colleagues to quit their Ministerial posts and forge a common front to fight for Telangana. She administered a path to the persons in the gathering that they would be part of a do or die battle for Telangana.
In an emotion packed speech, Vijayashanti announced her resignation from the primary membership of Bharatiya Janata Party. In her emotional speech, she described former Chief Minister, N Chandra Babu Naidu as the sole enemy of the people of Telangana as he wanted to see that it did not develop. She said that she sent a sixteen page note to the BJP leadership suggesting measures for the regions development but Mr. Naidu wanted it dumped. She said she had nothing against the BJP as its leaders were unable to take any decisions on Telangana. She requested the left parties to set aside their ideology and support for the cause.
