Claymore mines recovered

Visakhapatnam, May 25, 2005

The police on Wednesday recovered two claymore mines planted by Maoists on the road between Nerellabanda and Garikabanda in the agency mandal of GK Veedhi.

The mines were identified and defused around the noon. The Additional Superintendent of Police, Narsipatnam, Vineet Brijlal said that planting mines on a road frequently used by people could lead to civilian causalities.
