A woman who came to Hyderabad to get her jailed husband released on bail was allegedly kidnapped and gang raped at knifepoint by three persons on Tuesday night.
The thirty year old lady hailing from Mahabubnagar district came to the city with her uncle and was returning home alone on learning that the bail petition could be moved after summer vacation. When she missed the train at Malakpet station, she took an auto rickshaw to go to Mahatma Gandhi bus station. Auto rickshaw driver and another person took her to a marble shop at a knife point and gang raped her along with the watchman. The Asifnagar ACP V Mahender Reddy said that the watchman admitted the crime and a search is going on to nab the culprits.
