A show cause notice has been served by the District Collector of Anathapur on the TDP at the instance of the Election Commission to explain as to why its candidate for the Penukonda Assembly by election, Paritala Sunita, took a large number of people and vehicles along with her while filing her nomination papers last week. This was served in the wake of large scale violence.
