Mixed response in mass transfer of IAS officers

There was a mixed reaction in the administration on Monday to the mass transfer of IAS officers by the Government.

The latest reshuffle, which covered 73 IAS officers has taken the number of transfers during the last one year to nearly 150. The perception among the staff was that the changes at the top level were indicative of the resolve expressed by the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy to streamline the administration.
