Counterfeit currency racket busted in Nalgonda

Nalgonda, May 14, 2005

The Nalgonda district police busted a counterfeit currency racket with the arrest of seven persons belong to Prakasam, Krishna and Guntur districts at Miryalaguda on Saturday.

The Superintendent of Police, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat told reporters that special teams were formed to nab the suspected kingpin of the gang. The Police recovered a computer, three mobile phones and fake currency of 100 and 500 denominations worth Rs.10,500 were recovered from the possession of the gang.
