The Adilabad town police on Wednesday seized 1.6 tonnes of dry ganja valued at over Rs. 1 crore from an UP bound van. The driver of the van in which a mango consignment was used to camouflage the ganja was arrested.
During the interrogation of the driver, revealed that the ganja was loaded at Sileru in Visakhapatnam to handed over to one Yogesh on the outskirts of Benarus in UP.
