DGP confirms combing in Nallamala forests

Ongole - Prakasam, May 1, 2005

The Director General of Police Swaranjit Sen has said that the police are now combing the Nallamala forest and other areas to nab the CPI (Maoist) activists indulging in illegal activities like carrying arms and resorting to violence. He visited the scene of the Claymore mine attack targeting the Prakasam District Superintendent of Police, Mahesh Chandra Ladda on Wednesday.

Speaking to press, the DGP said that the police were drawing up plans to make use of available force in a better way.
