AB Kistaiah, a Telangana Rashtra Samithi youth wing president of Kolcharam and former Janashakthi Medak division secretary was shot dead by two unidentified persons believed to be naxals. The assailant fired three rounds from their pistols in a close range. The CPI (ML) Janashakthi on Tuesday called upon MPs and MLAs who are opposed to State Killings particularly those from Karimnagar and Nizamabad districts to resign from their posts according to a statement issued by Amar, party secretary and demanded prosecution of the Chief Minister and the DGP.
In Hyderabad, the CPI (Maoist) emissary, Gaddar on Tuesday demanded a judicial enquiry by a Supreme Court judge into the killing of ten naxals in the encounter. He demanded policemen involved in the encounter to be arrested for murder and immediate release of the arrested member of the Virasam, Jana Natya Mandali and Arunodaya.
