The bullets and shrapnel removed from the body of Paritala Ravi in the re postmortem by CBI at Venkatapuram village are being sent to the headquarters of Central Forensic Science Laboratory in New Delhi. A team of CBI is taking the material to Delhi for further investigation. The police handed over a pistol and a carbine claimed to have been used by two of the suspected shooters P Narayana Reddy and V Rekhamaiah who surrendered themselves before the police to the CBI.
A team of CBI with the help of local police was learnt to have searched the house of the Congress leader Konda Reddy who figured his name in the FIR. The police did not find any thing incriminating during the search. In the search of the house of V Hanumantha Reddy, the CBI made a study of the phone calls made and received during last few months was also learnt to have confirmed his link with Suri. It is to be noted that CBI arrested Hanumantha Reddy on 5th of this month.
