The Telangana Employees Association and Teachers Joint Action Committee has regretted that there was no commitment from the Government on their problems though the Assembly discussed them for three days.
At a press conference on Thursday, the president and general secretary respectively expressed happiness at the fact that Floor leaders of political parties underscored the need to implement the GO NO.610 and the Girglani Committee's report in toto. They warned that if things continued the same way and the Government continued to turn a deaf ear to their demands, it would face a repeat of the Telangana agitation of 1969 in which employees had participated wholeheartedly.
