DGP conducts aerial survey over Nallamala

Kurnool, March 22, 2005

The Director General of Police, Swaranjit Sen on had an aerial survey over Nallamala forests to boost up confidence in the police force who are under combing operations. The helicopter carrying the DGP and the IG, Greyhounds, Durgaprasad could not land in the Nallamala forest where the team was stranded and returned to Kurnool.

According to information, the Reserve Sub Inspector, Srinivas got his ankle twisted during combing operations in the Nallamala Forest. As the mission could not be successful, the injured officer was said to have been carried on a stretcher. The team comprised around 20 men who were attached to the Greyhounds force.
