Kadapa (Cuddapah), March 20, 2005

The Cuddapah MP, YS Vivenkananda Reddy on Sunday denied reports in a section of press that he had offered bribe to the Pulivendula Sub Jail SP Srinivasa Naik. Terming the reports part of sensationalism, he told pressmen that he merely called on 14 Congressmen remanded in a dispute over encroachment of ZP land at Vempalle. He said he entered the sub jail after signing the visitors' register and spent about ten minutes with his party men who were in the open yard.
