TDP activist hacked to death by rivals

Police begins investigation

A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activist was hacked to death by his rivals who belong to the Congress late on Tuesday at Kakumanu village in the Ponnur Assembly constituency.

According to police, the TDP activist, Vishnu Murty was allegedly attacked by Congress activist and five of his followers with knives and other weapons when the former was on his way to home after alighting a bus. The police are investigating the case.
