Panchaloha idol recovered

Karimnagar, March 2, 2005

The Karimnagar police have recovered an antique panchaloha idol of Buddha valued at Rs. 20 lakhs and weighing 5 Kgs and arrested a person in the town on Wednesday.

The Superintendent of Police DS Chauhan said that on information, the police party went to the NTR statue and found a man moving under suspicious circumstances. A case has been registered and investigation is going on.
